I hit "Yes" and get the same error as earlier: "Log onto Exchange ActiveSync mail server : The server cannot be found." ![]() Now, if I correct the Username/Password and enter the IP address (192.168.1.2) of the server, rather than the server's name () I get a Security Alert asking if I want to proceed. Now, if I change the Username or Password to be incorrect I get: "Log onto Exchange ActiveSync mail server : The username or password you entered isn't working. Error messages pops up: "Log onto Exchange ActiveSync mail server : The server cannot be found." Input Employee name, Email address (local account, not an active email address), Mail server, User Name, and Password. Click "Manual setup or additional server types"ģ. ![]() But the PC with Office 2016 seem to not like Exchange 2010.Ģ. On other PCs, Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013 all connect and work with no issues. My problem I am now facing is with Outlook 2016 connecting to Exchange 2010. Until now, everyone I have moved over has had only minor issues if any, but none with Outlook. I am working on moving their PCs to our main domain, but they still need to hit their file server and exchange server on their domain. They have their own MS Exchange 2010 server that they only use for shared calendars. I am the new guy with a County Government and one of our departments is on a different domain and their email is through their own ISP. How to connect Outlook 2016 to Exchange 2010?
